So I recently purchased a Wacom tablet and this dismay first drawing. Granted I haven’t drawn in a couple years and I’ve never used a tablet like this before. I think this stick person is awesome ^_^ If I do say so myself. More to come hopefully or maybe I should just stick with photography ;)
Normally I am not one for Marvel movies because I find them so predictable. However I gotta say that Guardians of the Galaxy has to be the best Marvel movie yet. It was fun, exciting, hilarious, and a ball to watch. I went in expecting the worst but came out completely in love with the characters and the storyline. They did an amazing job! Their best work yet. I give it 5 stars for sure. I can’t wait to go watch it again :)
Arizona, the land of no water except in pools and water parks. At the beginning I told myself I would write more and go swimming. Well I have put on a bathing suit twice this summer…whoo hoo :/ I fell so ashamed. I should have gone out so much more but our pool needs to be re-plastered so we can’t put water in it. Maybe I can squeeze in one or two more adventures with water…I miss swimming.
I made this tonight cause I went to see How To Train Your Dragon 2. A couple weeks ago I saw Godzilla and when I saw the Bewilderbeast in the HTTYD movie I was like - WHAAAAA!!! WHAT IF?! So I made this quick mash of the two. Who do you think would win?!!!!
In just 4 more days I will be back to the happiest place on earth! Back to the magic, the excitement, the adventure, and childhood! A long needed vacation after months of hardship. I cannot wait to go back home and be part of the magic again. Even though i’ll only be there for 3 days I’ll be sure to make the most of it!
Feels like an addiction just sitting here. I turn on the computer and find something I like, post it, and then search for another picture, quote, or something I like to post on this blog. Though it gives me a sense of freedom I feel almost trapped looking at this screen. I try and get off and do other things but will eventually find my way back to it. I don’t really have anything else to do but I feel like I should do more. Am I wasting my time? Is any of this worth anything? I don’t know….I know this page doesn’t have much significance but it makes me happy in a sense to see what I have liked and written over the past years. This is my journal in a way. And I guess writing in a journal isn’t all a big waste of time ^_^
I love this piece by BANKSY. Speaks volumes to me on how children today are obsessed with social media at such a young age. What do you make of the image? I also like that it has this comical aspect of having no notifications, friend requests, or likes LOL Pretty much how i feel though ;)
So many of you probably know if this very popular trend going around called “stiletto nails” (aka pointed nails). Working with hundreds of people a day I see these nails on so many people and in many different styles, colors, and tweaks to the nail ends. Though I love the look and the way fingers look with them on I can’t help but think, is it worth it? does it hurt having them? what are the limitations? do they break easily? etc. I ALMOST got them done the other day but stopped myself due to the the fact that the nail lady doing my pedicure said that girls that come in and get them done don’t work with their hands much and have to do normal everyday things differently because of the pinter ends. I work with electronics all day so I thought, “yeah….maybe not.” The last thing I want is to look stupid at work with pointed nails trying to open up phones and boxes, and doors, and putting on my work shirt. Though I may get them before I leave for a week vacation to Disneyland I can’t help but think, should I? Any suggestions from anyone? Anyone able to give me their review or suggestions on it? I don’t want to fall into a trend but I admit the sharpness makes me want them so bad… Help anyone?

So 2 days ago I bought my family the iPad Air. I got an amazing discount on the device and even got them a Logitech Keyboard with surrounding black case to go with it. I was so stoked and excited for them to use an Apple product such as this 1. Because they all have never used an iPad let alone iPhone before 2. Because a new electronic device such as this has not come into the house since my Mac Book Pro but they never use it because its mostly mine for school. I really expected them to jump off the wall and use it all the time. It was almost the opposite. For like the first 2 days no one but me touched it and now its use is mostly to watch Netflix on it while in bed for everyone. Though my mom has now started using it more for bills and website browsing, I really expected them to be more…i don’t know, adventurous with the device than they are now. I have told them all about Pages, Numbers, Keynote, the use of the keyboard and iCloud and so much more but they don’t seem to be interested. Was this a mistake? I spent half my tax refund on this for them because I am deathly terrified our old computer (HP desktop - roughly 16 years old) is going to crash any day now and they will be without any computer and all their data. I don’t know what I am going to do….I guess I’ll give it some more time. Who knows, maybe its just fear, maybe they just need to grow into it more?
I find tattoos like this absolutely beautiful…but i’m too afraid to get one cause of how my arms look :/
